Group lessons are a fun and relaxing way to learn to dance. Each group lesson features a review/warm-up time, then the class focuses on a particular dance. Several new patterns are taught, showing both the gentlemen and ladies parts.
Private lessons provide students with the opportunity to work one-on-one with their teacher. The student will achieve their goals faster as Privates give an accelerated learning experience. In most cases, 4 times faster than groups. Private lessons taken along with Group lessons help develop dancing skills and accelerate learning.
Dance Fever Inc., uses a progressive style for both group & private lessons. The students continually add new steps, patterns, and techniques building on the patterns they already know. (We focus on these 6 core dances: Waltz, Foxtrot, Single Swing, Cha Cha, Rumba and American Tango.)
Summer Programs - For June, July and August, we move away from our 6 core dances and the progressive mode of teaching and work on dances that we normally cannot teach during the normal school year. These dances could include: Country 2 Step, Vienesse Waltz, Samba, Mambo, Merengue, Night Club 2 Step, Country Waltz, Country Cha, Line Dances, West Coast and Triple Swing. A small sampling and shorter sessions times, allow students to "try out" dances.
Practice Parties are an informal gathering for our students and friends to get together and practice the dances they have been working on in groups and Private Lessons.
Typically our practice parties are held on Friday nights, from 7:00-10:00 and cost just $5/pp. Every now and then we hold these as a Potluck or combine with another event. Check the calendar each month for the most updated information regarding these Parties.
